How we work
A lasting finish starts long before the final coat. Our process is built around careful evaluation, thorough preparation, precise color work, and finishing techniques tailored to each surface.

We start with the surface itself—its material, condition, existing finish, wear, and the result you want to achieve. Every project gets a finishing approach based on what’s actually there, not a one-size-fits-all formula.

This is where much of the work happens. Surfaces are carefully cleaned, repaired, stripped, sanded, and prepared as needed, with surrounding areas protected throughout the process. Proper preparation creates the foundation for a finish that looks right and lasts.

Whether we’re matching an existing stain, creating a new tone, or selecting a painted finish, we test and refine the color before full application. Samples let you see the finish against the actual material and lighting before we move forward.

The final finish is applied in carefully controlled layers using products and techniques selected for the surface and its everyday use. The result is a smooth, durable finish designed to look considered up close and hold up over time.
